  I found these fantastic shells on the beach in Goa.  The color including the green is a natural part of the shell.  Of course when they dried they lost their beautiful luster and the iridescence inside faded but...a good buffing and a coat of resin restored the shine and will make it last.  The shells, while fragile, turned out to be sturdy enough to withstand my tiny drill-bit without cracking.   I used aquamarine briolettes underneath because they look to me like drops of water falling from the edge. - Not yet for sale

The stones are blue chalcedony, citrine and carnelian worked with silver beads and a lovely silver clasp set with aquamarine.  I chose this chalcedony as it has some beautiful dark spots within the stone that gives it great character. - sold
